About

Ocean Jasper Yoga Studio

Founder Ariana Lee-Kane believes creating a space that encourages self-love and empowerment can reduces stress, elevate energetic vibrations,  and contribute to mental health and wellness. These factors can greatly impact the overall health of your mind, body, and soul.

Ocean Jasper Yoga Studio (OJYS) is filled with eclectic charm, simplicity, and the natural healing elements of crystals, light, and earth elements connecting us to our Heart Chakra (Anahata).

Often referred to as the stone of vitality, Ocean Jasper (OJ) is an uplifting crystal that eases tension and reduces stress.

In 2009, Ariana fell in love with yoga and was eager to learn more about its healing benefits. In 2018, she left her corporate role in health administration to enter the world of entrepreneurship and commit fully to yoga, health education, and wellness advocacy by opening a physical space to share her knowledge and gifts with the community.

She is the owner, creative director, and leading guide at OJYS. Ariana believes yoga is not to be performed. Yoga is a practice to be embodied on and off the mat.

"I am infinitely grateful for my evolution. As a teacher and a student, I encourage others to develop a daily practice that connects you to your most enlightened self, honoring the body, mind, and soul while living in alignment, honoring inner peace and divine consciousness."

Ariana is an innovative soul who enjoys empowering and inspiring others to create happiness by learning and focusing on optimal health, inner peace, and uplifting energy. A transformational teacher at heart, she leads with compassion and inner strength. Her teaching style blends her passion for elemental energy with Vinyasa flow and detailed knowledge of the body while emphasizing breath and alignment-based cues.

"As a student and a teacher, I noticed the lack of minority studio owners in my area and the undefined presence of BIPOC in many studio settings. Brown and black yogis have a rich history of yoga. The lack of representation was my motivation to manifest, birth, and cultivate OJYS. I desire to share this practice with all, especially those who have minimal access and exposure to wellness programs. Contributing to minority-owned leadership in yoga is my goal". Yoga is an art that contributes to community wellness by uniting the body, mind, and spirit. OJYS is focused on community, inclusion, diversity, and equity through service, collaboration, and health education”
